BigFord350's MTM2 Tips and Tricks

Welcome to Bigford350's MTM2 tips and tricks. I have been playing MTM1 and MTM2 ever since They have come out. I have learned many tips and tricks, and now i want to share them with you. I hope they work for you, so good luck!

GOING AROUND CORNERS

I have found out, very quickly, that the hardest part in a track is the corners. There are do's and dont's when taking a turn.
To take a turn the right way, come to your turn, take your foot off the gas, turn, about halfway through the turn give it gas,(and if needed, shift into a lower gear) and you will go through the turn looking like a pro. Now don't give up just becaue you can't do it the first time, this might need a bit of practice to get the timing right, but you will get the steps down pat. NEVER brake in a turn, this will cause your truck to straiten out, and go off the track. The only time you should brake is when you are going to fast BEFORE you come to the turn, because if you go to fast through a sharp turn, chances are you wont make it, go off the track, and it might cause you to lose the race.

ADD-ON TRUCKS/TRACKS

Add on trucks and tracks are great! I got a few of them, and if you don't know how to get them, you will need a program called Podinni2. You will have to put this into your MTM2 folder, and any trucks you download, you will have to put them there to. Then open podinni2, and scroll down, and you will see the name of the file. You have to double click the file name until you see YES beside it, then click ok. If you want to take a truck or track out, double click on the file in podinni2 again, and where it said YES, it will say NO. That means that when you open MTM2 up, you wont be able to use that truck/track. You will find this a www.teamslo.com, click on utilites, then click PODINNI2. I will put it in the LINKS down below. You can also make your own trucks. This is somthing I don't know anything about, although i would love to make them. This way, you can make your truck to fit your intrests ( and have the pride of knowing that you built it, lol) So good luck!
